What you type in the generator

Your business details, contact details and choices are processed only in your browser to write your notice. They are not sent to us or to anyone else. There are no accounts and no cookies.

Only if you tick "Keep my answers in this browser" does the page keep your answers in your browser's local storage, so you need not type them again. They stay on your device and are never sent. Untick the box, or clear the site's data in your browser, to delete them.

Buying the Indian-language notices

Dodo Payments sells the kit as merchant of record. You enter your payment and billing details on Dodo's payment page; Dodo processes them under its own privacy policy. We receive from Dodo the details of the purchase needed for refunds and our accounts.

To unlock the languages, the page sends the payment ID and the email address you paid with (or, back from the payment page, the checkout session) to our server, which asks Dodo whether the purchase is paid, not refunded and made with that email address. Our server compares the address and does not store it. Nothing from your notice is sent. The payment ID and email address stay in your browser's local storage so the unlock can be checked again on your next visit, and the checkout session in session storage until the tab is closed. Your answers stay in this tab's session storage while you pay, so the form is filled again when you come back, and are deleted then.

Web hosting

Cloudflare, Inc. delivers the site. It processes your IP address and technical data of each request to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page visits without cookies or cross-site tracking. Cloudflare may process this data outside India.

Fonts and scripts come from this site itself; the pages load nothing from other websites.

Your rights

You may ask for a summary of your personal data we process, its correction, completion, updating or erasure, and nominate another person to use these rights if you die or cannot act (sections 11 to 14). As we store no data that identifies you, there is normally nothing to return. You may withdraw consent at any time by unticking "Keep my answers in this browser". Write to contact@vedacta.com; we answer grievances within 30 days. If our answer does not settle your grievance, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
